In Beijing’s “Forbidden City” they used large pots to heat water to control the humity in this massive 7,800,000 square feet foot print.
Even in ancient times the folks knew that controlling the humidity for wood products is critical.
I suggest that in any home you keep the interior relative humidity at a rate that is healthy for you personally as well as for your wooden floors, your wood framing, crown molding and so much more.
