DuraCeramic Wood Grain

Q: I am looking for some DuraCeramic Wood Grain flooring. It looks like a wood laminate, but is made with the same materials as the DuraCeramic tile.

A: The particular product you are looking for is called DuraPlank, and is made by Congoleum. This is made using the same techniques as the other Dura products, but the trouble you may have is sourcing this product. Your best bet for tracking any of the 9 colors offered down would be to contact Congoleum directly and try to find a local retailer which carries the DuraPlank product line. Most retailers tend to stick only with the stone collections as they are the most well known and popular lines for Congoleums Dura products.
If you are attempting to replace some damaged product or install a matching floor to a new area, your best bet will be to contact Congoleum directly. If this will be an entirely new floor, it make be a bit easier to look into a vinyl based wood-grain appearing product as an alternative. In this case I would look at Konecto or Congoleum’s Forum and Regal plank collections.
