Smell from Konecto Presitge Flooring

Q: Two weeks ago we installed Konecto Prestige flooring. We’ve had our windows and doors open daily all that time due to the warm weather we’ve had locally. However, the odor of the Konecto has not abated in the least. Do you have suggestions for getting rid of the smell?

A: With floors like Konecto there can be many factors which cause a smell. Depending on the manufacture date, the product could be recently produced and still going through its normal process which can take months. This can also be due to your subfloor.
The easy way to remove this smell would be to get an ozone generator (one that creates real ozone such as the well known Ionic Breeze). These generators remove smells and various other nasty little things from the air and can speed up the out gassing process your floor is going through.
