Vinyl Flooring Tiles – Harley Davidson Theme

Q: I am looking for orange and black vinyl flooring squares (we are Harley-Davidson people and would like to do the floor of our enclosed trailer in the H-D theme). I can find black, but cannot find orange anywhere; can you please help?

A: Find solid colored tiles, especially vinyl can be a bit tough as there are very few colors beyond black and white available. Typically, solid colored tiles are found with commercial grade Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT). As far as orange tile goes, you are in a bit of luck. Armstrong has and orange they carry in their solids line which is a flat Orange in color which should fit your project.
In the case of finding solid colored tiles in the future, your best bet is usually to start with something who will sell commercial grade VCT as these are far more likely to have a decent solid color selection. However, in your case you’re lucky as there is still an orange residential vinyl tile in production.
