Hitting the skies

Well as usual it seems I am off to the airport.

This trip I will see our Atlanta and Dalton locations as well as meet with some of our key vendors, partners and other folks that we rely on.

Since I will be on the road most of the time it will be hard to check in here – but I will do what I can – and I will try to take some photos along the way.

Dalton is a significant city in the world of flooring housing some of the biggest hitters in the world from both a retail as well as a manufacturing perspective. Shaw, Mohawk, Beaulieu, Karastan, Oriental Weavers …. the list can go on for dozens if not hundreds more manufacturing companies in North Georgia that are all about flooring. Flooring of every kind from carpet which is the root of the industry to carpet related things like rugs, padding, backing, yarn, dye, and more. Now laminate and other flooring products are being produced there as well.

It is a great town and I look forward to seeing it in the beautiful spring time.
