Linnea wax build up

Linnea wax build up — modern flooring photography

I have a floating Linnea hardwood floor. One of my cleaning people used a wax on the surface which said it was safe for all polyurethane sealed floors. I have been trying to clean it with the traditional floor cleaners that I got at the time of installation but am getting gobs of goo. How in the world do I strip of this wax? I cannot afford to have it professionally done myself.

this is a common situation, but also avoidable; so we can fix this.

first linnea by kahrs has an aluminium oxide surface(not poly-urethane) like laminate flooring despite the fact that it is a hardwood veneer, therefore, no wax will work on it. in general i would avoid wax products on any floor.

to get the wax off the floor find new beginning stripper. USE it carefully – do not overwet the floor.

once you get that stuff off use the bona hard surface kit for regular maintenance. you will be much happier with the results.

good luck!
